Description
Dr. Shaughnessy grew up in Mokena, IL, and was one of the first members of his family to attend college. He earned a Biology and Chemistry degree from Case Western Reserve University, and his first job out of college was in scientific research at the Cleveland Clinic. That inspired him to go into the field of dentistry. When asked why he decided to become a dentist, Dr. Shaughnessy said, "Empowering people to wholeheartedly live their best life absolutely fulfills me, and comprehensive dentistry allows me to express that in alignment with my passions and core values."
